Top Design Build Firm, Stellar, Selects goLabor
Stellar, a fully integrated firm focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services worldwide, recently selected Equential's goLabor technology to improve the company's effectiveness in the field. Integrated with their JD Edwards back office suite, goLabor will be used by foremen in the field to electronically capture data for labor and production. This will enable Stellar to streamline business processes and reduce paper usage. Ultimately, goLabor will save the company time, resources and money.
The planned implementation is tentatively scheduled for January 2010 with approximately 60 foremen using goLabor in the field. Stellar turned to Equential's goLabor solution for a number of business benefits. By eliminating paper timesheets and streamlining the field data collection process, Stellar hopes to gain efficiencies in this area. The labor and dual data entry associated with manual processes will be solved by goLabor's streamlined approval workflow capabilities and automatic entry into the JD Edwards system. The implementation of goLabor will allow Stellar's field technicians to better focus on business results and customer satisfaction. In today's economy, real-time visibility is essential, and allocates resources more effectively.
